Update [28] - 19Dec24


Welcome to this update post (28) for "a ghostly desire".

At the end of the year and after the latest release,
I’d like to share a few words about what’s next for A Ghostly Desire.

  • Exit button problem:
    Unfortunately, I still haven't been able to pinpoint the
    cause of the issue with the missing exit button.
    Despite attempts on my part through hot fixes with some
    affected players to resolve it, the problem persists.


  • Minigames:
    After receiving a lot of feedback regarding the difficulty
    of the puzzles (particularly Pavilion) and reflecting on the
    constructive criticism that was shared, the following changes
    will be implemented with Alpha 0.9:



    • Supporter Version:
      - The UI will provide clearer feedback on whether
      and when the mouse is positioned over a valid placement
      area to drop the piece you’ve picked up
      - The ability to skip puzzles as part of the
      story progression! (auto-complete)

    • Public Version:
      - The UI will provide clearer feedback on whether
      and when the mouse is positioned over a valid placement
      area to drop the piece you’ve picked up


  • Alpha 0.9:
    (My new computer has arrived and is now fully set up and ready,
    allowing development to continue seamlessly)

    The planning for Day 6 in-game (Alpha 0.9) is complete and has been roughly outlined


    • What to expect for 0.9:

      Main Story Line:

      - Dayna
      - Charlotte & Antonia (hospital)
      - Larissa

      Optional:
      - Emma
      - Violet
      - Anastasia
      - Sebastian
      - Rebecca

      (..and finally the first two hidden cams will be placeable)
